Datum Connect was established on Valentines Day February 2002 by Danny Ing and Rob Williams. Funnily enough they didn't realise this until two years later when their first female employee brought this to their attention. Since then, Datum Connect has come far from its humble beginnings in a three-bedroom South Auckland home to become a fully operational business facility.
Today, six years on the company employs between 16 and 22 staff depending on workloads and serves well over 600 small and medium sized businesses. The secret? A determined but fun attitude combined with intelligent, practical systems that work for you, not the other way around!
The future aspiration of Datum Connect is focusing on franchising the business. This was cemented in February 2007 with the signing of their first franchisee. The company is looking to expand the Datum Connect brand within New Zealand and with an ultimate goal of going global.
