Background

Peak Pilates offer pilates classes, physiotherapy, acupucture and sport massages over their five Auckland pilates studios. They run classes Monday to Saturday from 8am to 7pm.

Targetting

Peak Pilates were not coming up to well for the word "pilates" which is their primary keyword. We also found that the words "pilates studio" and "pilates classes" we getting searched quite often so we are also looking to target these phrases.

What we did

• HOMEPAGE: The text on the homepage was modified to incorporate the phrase they were wanting to be found for. Also an

  header tag was added, incorporating the phrases "pilates" and "auckland".

• SITEMAP: We added a sitemap to the footer of the website which helps search engines crawl the website better, making sure every page is getting picked up correctly.
• INTERNAL PAGE TITLES: We changed the internal page titles so they were not all the same, especially for the five different location pages. This means that if someone was to search any other the Auckland regions with the word "pilates" then Peak Pilates will appear. Even though the internal pages are not as powerful as the homepage, they are still useful for targetting a broader range of phrases.
• LINKS: Peak Pilates already had a good amount of links coming into their website which was good to see, these included nzs.com and yellow pages. In addition we added them to our portals Promote New Zealand and New Zealand Directory and a map site zoomin. With zoomin it was a good opportunity to add all five Auckland locations - Mission Bay, Newmarket, Botany, Albany and Grey Lynn onto it with different key phrases linking back to their website.
